Porsche 911

The Porsche 911 (pronounced Neunelf in German or Nine Eleven) is a 2+2 high performance sport car with 2 doors made in Germany since 1963 by Porsche AG of Stuttgart. Porsche 911 contains all-round independent suspension and a 6 cylinder boxer, rear-mounted engine. Although there is still just a few small changes in the basic concept, it has undergone unceasing evolution. The engines of Porsche 911 were air-cooled until the premiere of the Type 996 in 1998, with the last of the air-cooled Porsches that is manufactured in years 1994 to 1998 – the 993 series of Porsche. If you are among people who really care about and love cars, especially the models coming from the Porsche brand, then take a look to the earliest and the newest models that Porsches 911 brings to drivers over years.

The Earliest Porsche 911 Model

The earliest version of the 911 ran with a metric horsepower of 130.

Type 901/01 flat-six engine, in the configuration of a “boxer” as the 356, rear-mounted and air-cooled, displaced 1991 cc in the comparison to the 1582 cc unit, 356’s 4-cylinder. Porsche 911 had 4 seats with very small size. Therefore, this product is often known as a 2 plus 2 rather than a 4-seater car. This car also came with a 4 or 5-speed manual transmission of “Type 901”. The design was made by Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche’s son – Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche.

Porsche 911 2017 – The Newest Model

As people would expect of a model that has shown the most amazing evolutions over several years, the new features of Porsche 911 2017 do not jump out the sheet metal and expose something like a revolution, for example, but there are a lot of beautiful and meaningful changes that will “wow” everyone in the world. The end of the back gets the 3D-effect LED brake lights for 991.2 Carrera, an engine that is covered with revamped exhaust pipery and newly longitudinal vanes. The front has been redesigned to put LED cornering headlamps and revised air intakes altogether.

The details on the read of Porsche 911 are lower and wider this time around. Every horizontal parts outside this car makes it appear meaner and wider, punctuated by a brand new range of taillights taken from the incoming Panamera. The interior comes with any color users want and appear as the same: still great, modern, and classic.

The engines mentioned above are just the headline. A turbo-six is actually the base engine that can produce 370 horsepower and help the Porsche 911 model speed up to 60 mph within just 4 seconds.

A more powerful 420-hp Carrera S model can reach the same speed within just 3.7 seconds, and the Turbo S models – the best 911 model with amazing specs comes with the ability to reach the speed of 580 hp within just 2.8 seconds. Incredible!

The Porsche 911 in 2017 brings about some of the best and huge adjustions for a sport car compared to others over recent years, but just by looking at it from the outside, you can totally not know much and exactly about the best features it has.

Predictably, a car that is looked pretty similar to a model from1960s will not be the winner of any beauty pageant and it is actually not the most comfortable cruiser for long-distance journeys, but nothing is perfect, right?
